Where should I park for my appointment at William Guy Westbourne?

There is plenty of parking available near to our salon in Poole Road.  We recommend trying Milburn Road Car Park, BH4 9HJ, which is a short walk from the salon.  You could also try the car park on Landseer Road, BH4 9HJ, which is close to the salon.

Alternatively you could try Almhurst Road Car Park, BH4 8EL.  This is slightly further away but can be quieter.

You may also be able to find on-street parking, in paid bays, but these can be limited at busy times.  Please check the signage for restrictions and parking fees.

We recommend allowing some extra time ahead of your appointment to find a slot.

Absolutely!  Westbourne is well known for it's independent coffee shops, cafes and bistros.  We're situated in the heart of Westbourne on the busy hight street, so you will have plenty of choice.

How do I get to the Westbourne salon?

The salon is easily accessible by car or public transport. Westbourne is located between Bournemouth and Poole, just off the A35. If you're travelling by bus, several routes serve Westbourne village with stops nearby.  The closest are Westbourne Arcade and County Gates, served by Morebus Route 16.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, we offer gift vouchers for all our services and retail products. These make perfect gifts and can be purchased at the salon.

I'm new to the area - which of your salons should I visit?

Welcome! Our Ringwood salon is perfect if you're based in or around Ringwood, the New Forest, Verwood, Fordingbridge or surrounding Hampshire villages.

If you're closer to Bournemouth, Poole, or the South Coast, our Westbourne salon might be more convenient. Both locations offer the same exceptional service and Davines hair care range.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that life can get busy. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ (two working days’) notice. This allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment to another client. Cancellations made with less notice may incur the full cost of the missed appointment, and future bookings may require full payment in advance.

Can I buy Davines products at your salons?

Yes, we stock a wide-range of Davines home-care products. Our stylists are happy to recommend products tailored to your hair style and particular hair concerns.

How much do your services cost?

Our pricing varies depending on the service and the experience level of your stylist. Please visit the price list for your local William Guy salon or contact the salon for specific pricing.  Links are at the top of the page.

How long will my hair appointment take?

Appointment times vary by service. A cut typically takes 45-60 minutes, while colour services can take 2-4 hours depending on the technique.  Keratin treatments and extensions may take longer.

We'll give you an estimated time when you book.

Do I need an allergy patch test?

Yes.  Your safety is always our top priority, and although we use gentle hair colours from Davines, if you’re new to William Guy, or haven’t had your hair coloured with us in the last 3 months, you’ll need a quick allergy alert test at least 48 hours before your colour appointment.

It’s a simple patch test behind the ear.  Just pop in to the salon or give us a call to arrange a time if that's easier for you.

If I've had my hair coloured at William Guy before, do I still need a patch test?

If you haven’t had your hair coloured with us in the last 3 months, you will still need a patch test.  This needs to take place at least 48 hours before your colour appointment.

Allergies can develop at any time, and the patch test ensures your continued safety.
