If I've had my hair coloured at William Guy before, do I still need a patch test?
«If you haven’t had your hair coloured with us in the last 3 months, you will still need a patch test. This needs to take place at least 48 hours before your colour appointment.
Allergies can develop at any time, and the patch test ensures your continued safety.
Where should I park for my appointment at William Guy Ringwood salon?
«There are plenty of parking options available near our Ringwood High Street salon.
For ease and convenience we recommend parking at the Furlong Car Park, BH24 1AT. It offers both short and long stay parking and it's a short walk from William Guy. Electric Vehicle charging is available.
Alternatively you could try the Blynkbonnie Car Park, Christchurch Rd, BH24 1DN. This is slightly further away but still within easy walking distance.
We recommend allowing extra time ahead of your appointment, in case the car parks are busy.

How do I get to the Ringwood salon?
«The salon is easily accessible by car or public transport. Ringwood is conveniently located near the A31 and has excellent transport links.
If you're travelling by bus, there are regular services to Ringwood. The bus station is in Meeting House Lane, a short walk from our salon on the High Street.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
«Yes, we offer gift vouchers for all our services and retail products. These make perfect gifts and can be purchased at the salon.
What services are available at the Ringwood salon?
«We offer a complete range of hair services including precision haircuts, styling, colour (balayage, highlights, full colour, colour correction), keratin treatments, and special occasion styling.
All our services use premium Davines products.
What is your cancellation policy?
«We understand that life can get busy. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ (two working days’) notice. This allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment to another client. Cancellations made with less notice may incur the full cost of the missed appointment, and future bookings may require full payment in advance.
Can I buy Davines products at your salons?
«Yes, we stock a wide-range of Davines home-care products. Our stylists are happy to recommend products tailored to your hair style and particular hair concerns.
How much do your services cost?
«Our pricing varies depending on the service and the experience level of your stylist. Please visit the price list for your local William Guy salon or contact the salon for specific pricing. Links are at the top of the page.
How long will my hair appointment take?
«Appointment times vary by service. A cut typically takes 45-60 minutes, while colour services can take 2-4 hours depending on the technique. Keratin treatments and extensions may take longer.
We'll give you an estimated time when you book.
Do I need an allergy patch test?
«Yes. Your safety is always our top priority, and although we use gentle hair colours from Davines, if you’re new to William Guy, or haven’t had your hair coloured with us in the last 3 months, you’ll need a quick allergy alert test at least 48 hours before your colour appointment.
It’s a simple patch test behind the ear. Just pop in to the salon or give us a call to arrange a time if that's easier for you.
